The sailplan is designed to provide useful power in lighter winds while allowing the sail to depower more easily when wind gusts increase.

SAFETY FEATURES

The Hobie Wave incorporates several features designed to make sailing easier and safer. The Comptip mast system and mast float help prevent the catamaran from turning completely upside down in the event of a capsize.

The EZ Loc rudder system makes raising and lowering the rudders simple, which is particularly useful when launching, landing or sailing in shallow water.

MESH TRAMPOLINE
